Basically you will have all 4 sticks running at 3200MHz, but 2 of them will be running with 16gb and the other 2 will be running with 32gb. Basically you will have altogether 48gb. Not a lot of people do that because it's quite an odd number of ram to use, i'd just go with another 2x16gb set of RAM that way i'm using 64gb and keep the 2x8gb spare.

Hz should be the same but if you get diff speeds BOTH sticks will run at the slowest of the two. 8+16gb of ram is fine, it’s still dual channel. As long as you have two sticks you’ll be in dual channel unless for whatever reason your mobo doesn’t support it
Memory runs better in dual channel mode, and in order to achieve that, you need to install 2 x 4 GB, 2 x 8 GB or 2 x 16 GB, etc. So, if you plan on one day upgrading to 32 GB, by all means, add a 16 GB chip to the 8 GB chip for 24 GB. If not, remove the 4 GB chip and install another 8 GB chip to go with the existing 8 GB chip. Watch this video

even buying the same make and model does not guarntee RAM sticks from different boxes will work together. First thing first though is pull out your new RAM and make sure the old stuff still work correctly. Once that is confirmed take out your old RAM and put in the new RAM to confirm it works by itself.

It can be listed as memory remapping, memory extension, or something like those. Adjust AGP video aperture size in the BIOS and test. Its possible the memory it was using was locked by the video card. You could try just the new RAM to make sure it works with the CPU. Try the lower voltage RAM in bank 0 moving the older RAM to bank 1.

Most professional work essentially requires 16GB at this point whether that is CAD, video editing, 3D modeling, or something else.
